Chantalle "1"___

The idea to make this guitar came to me as I was working on Pete Haycock`s signature prototype. He had mentioned his friend Glen Turner, and that he wanted to introduce me to him. So as a “Beatles addict” I was more than motivated to try to make a guitar to suit Glen, as guitarist & singer in the legendary “Beatles Revival Band” as well as “Pete Haycock's True Blues”.
On the first picture you can see the prototype of “Chantalle”, still with a solid body ......well....yes.... almost there……
The other photos show the final result, now used by Glen Turner. He tested it when he he came along to my place with Pete (some pictures with him & “Chantalle” in the ”References” section) and then he, Glen, took the guitar with him (haven’t seen her since………..!)

The body is made of Brazilian cedar with a flamed maple top, hollow body construction with special hollow pocket system. Maple neck & rosewood fret board (22 frets), scale: 649mm.
The Hardware is 24 karat gold plated, bigsby-tremolo, mini humbuckers, roller nut & bridge are some of the special features this custom made instrument.
Glen said, later that the sound reminds him a bit of a mixture between a Ricky & guild.
This model will be available in natural finish (like this one), cream, black, or cherry sunburst. Hardware will be available in chrome or gold...but any other suggestions or specifications can be accomodated of course...with a slight price adjustment..
