His parallel solo career has included notable appearances on the "Night Of The Guitars" tours, CD's and Videos, and at the Flanders Film Festival during which composer Hans Zimmer was honoured and which included the only live performance of Zimmer's music to date. Pete has also made many "session" appearances, for artists as diverse as Stewart Copeland and Stanley Clarke (Animal Logic),Gary Numan and Jan Akkerman, as well as his own solo albums like "Guitar & Son"and "Bikers' Dozen".

Many successful movie scores have featured Pete Haycock's distinctive lead and slide guitar sound, including "Thelma & Louise" (starring Susan Sarandon, Geena Davies, Harvey Keitel and Brad Pitt), "Drop Zone", the action-packed sky diving crime story (with Wesley Snipes and Gary Busey) and "K2", the mountaineering drama featuring Michael Biehn and Matt Craven, to name but a few. Pete has received a nomination for the Independant Spirit Award for his own score to the highly acclaimed "One False Move" (featuring Billy Bob Thornton and Bill Paxton).

Pete continues to compose and perform his own music, notably the "Bikers' Dozen" CD featuring his music from the Hollister Biker Rally DVD, and has also recently appeared "live" both as special guest to "Mr.B Is Moving" and with his "Pete Haycock's True Blues" project, which also features talented "Mr.B" singer/guitarist Glen Turner.
